Dario Rodighiero

Assistant Professor of Sciences and Technology Studies at the University of Groningen

Dario is an Assistant Professor of Sciences and Technology Studies at the University of Groningen, serving the multidisciplinary faculty of Campus Fryslân at the department of Knowledge Infrastructures.He is affiliated at Harvard University with metaLAB and the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society. Dario’s research is rooted in knowledge design, critical data studies, and digital humanities, focusing on the mapping of science and GLAM digital archives. His interdisciplinarity allows him to work across multiple domains, making him an excellent mediator between experts from different fields.

With Metis Press, he authored Mapping Affinities: Democratizing Data Visualization — a book about charting scientific communities from a design-driven, ethical perspective.EPFL awarded him a Ph.D. in Sciences after attending the doctoral program of Architecture and Sciences of the City.Over the years, he was employed at MIT, Sciences Po, Panthéon-Sorbonne University, and the European Commission, lecturing at CERN and Ars Electronica and exhibiting at MAXXI and the Harvard Art Museums.
