George is the Edgelands Curator in Nairobi, he is an experienced campaigner and movement builder. George has over 13 years of global experience in social impact campaigning, policy change and movement building. He is enthusiastic about creatively engaging and championing audiences take action for social change when it matters most.In his previous role as Campaigns Director at Purpose. George led planning and execution of multiple global campaigns on different issue areas ranging climate justice, healthy information systems, energy access, education, youth and advocacy, election integrity, Covid-19 communications, vaccine equity, countering mis/ dis information, public health equity among others. He has been involved in countless global campaigns,narrative shifts and advocacy activities designed to ensure a just world for all.George is a graduate of the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication and attended the Sunnmøre Folkehøgskule and Strathmore Business School. He is an alumnus of the Fredskorpset and Communication for Change programs and serves as board member at Amnesty International Kenya and Advisor to The Africa Centre for Health Systems and Gender Justice.
