Rituraj is an urban researcher deeply committed to research, policy, and advocacy within the realm of urban studies. He is currently pursuing his PhD research at Jawaharlal Nehru University, India. His academic journey has been driven by a passion for advancing the concept of "Right to the City", promoting socio-spatial justice within urban environments by exploring the intricacies of informality, spatial inequality, urban development, and governance. Additionally, Rituraj holds the role of Coordinator for the Delhi Roundtable on Solid Waste Management, dedicating his efforts to advocating for the inclusion of informal waste-pickers within the city's waste management systems. His work is underpinned by the belief that collective contributions can play a pivotal role in building cities that are equitable, just, and conducive to the well-being of all inhabitants. With a relentless pursuit of creating sustainable and equitable urban environments, Rituraj's work stands at the intersection of academia and practical change-making in the urban landscape.
