Conversation on Surveillance

The blogposts in this sub-series document a range of events hosted in Cúcuta and Geneva, whose aim was to engage in conversation and to encourage brainstorming on issues dealing with digital technology and on developing technology solutions that preserve public trust, local values, needs, and independence. Some of the conversations focus on ways to address the reality and experience of digital exclusion by specific population groups, such as migrant women and seniors. All these documents show how local participation in developing new ways of incorporating the digital into our daily lives is crucial for a more inclusive approach new technologies.
