Global Fellowship Program
The yearly global fellowship program was an opportunity for experts and local community actors to explore the interrelation and the tradeoffs between digital technology, security and the social contract. Fellows from around the world examine the potential benefits of digitisation for social and global issues such as climate change, sustainability and urban security, but they also explore the risks that these digital security measures pose to public trust in government institutions. Fellows address cases of progressive privatisation of public data, exclusionary practices and gentrification.
